The final place of the Ukrainian team depends on the result of the match Lodz – Le Cannet
Female Prometheus beat the Romanian Albu Blaj in the last round of volleyball Champions League – 3:1.
Ivan Petkov’s team won the opening two games. In both sets, the Romanian team forced the fight, but the Ukrainians performed better in the end.
The third set was left to Alba, who began to act more organized at the net. In the fourth set there was an equal fight, and in the end Prometheus snatched the victory.
Petkov’s team finished the group round with nine points and is in second place in Group E. Prometheus’s final position will depend on the result of the last match of the quartet between LKS Lodz and Volero Le Cannet.
According to the regulations, the first two places qualify for the 1/8 finals of the Champions League. Third place allows you to qualify for the CEV Cup.
