The Spanish defender will be Yarmolyuk’s teammate in the coming months
Brentford officially announced the signing of the Spanish defender Sergio Reguilona from Tottenham. The left wing-back has joined on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season.
It was previously reported that the London clubs had already reached an agreement, and the final decision was up to the player himself.
The 27-year-old Spaniard spent the first half of the season on loan at Manchester United. The Red Devils activated the early termination clause of the loan agreement in January, after which the player returned to Tottenham.
Over the course of four months, Reguilon played 12 matches for Manchester United in all competitions, without any significant performances. On seven occasions he left the starting line.
Brentford are in 16th place in the Premier League with 19 points. The team of Ukrainian Yegor Yarmolyuk will play the next match on January 20 against Nottingham.
