Olympic figure skating champion Kamila Valieva will miss the Russian Show Jumping Championship, according to the athlete’s fan group.
“Unfortunately, we have to inform you that Kamila will not be able to participate in the Russian Show Jumping Championship due to health reasons.
“We understand that this is a necessary measure, because Kamila always strives to perform and show her skills on the ice, to please her fans,” the message read.

At the Russian Figure Skating Championships in Chelyabinsk, Valieva became a bronze medalist.
The show jumping tournament will take place on January 20-21 in Moscow.
