Dayana confidently defeated the French representative in two sets
Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya following three compatriots, she made it to the third round Australian Open 2024.
In two sets, the Ukrainian defeated the representative of France, Varvara Gracheva, located 54 positions higher in the WTA rankings.
The match lasted 68 minutes. Dayana played more confidently and accurately, made five serves, converted three break points and did not give a single serve to her opponent.
Yastremskaya made it to the third round of the Australian Open following Lesya Tsurenko, Marta Kostyuk and Elina Svitolina. At this stage, the Ukrainian tennis players did without losses.
In the next round, Dayana will face American Emma Navarro, the 27th seed.
