Russian figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze responded harshly to American blogger Dave Liz, who previously said his ice dancing daughter Diana Davis would represent the United States.
In early June, The Skating Lesson YouTube host Liz announced that Davis and Gleb Smolkin would be reviewed by the United States Figure Skating Federation for a possible move. Later, the dancers denied the rumor about the change of sports citizenship. Additionally, Liz tweeted that Davis and Smolkin got married in the United States.
“Dave, you’re full of shit. You have neither conscience nor honor. You don’t respect others because you are nothing to yourself. Your statements humiliate people around you,” Tutberidze wrote on the social network.
Last season, Davis and Smolkin won the silver medal in the Russian championship and took 14th place at the Beijing Olympics.
