Bronze medalist of the 2009 Russian Championship Katharina Gerboldt expressed the opinion that the Olympic champion Kamila Valieva misses the show jumping tournament because he wants to take a break from his performances.
On Thursday, Valieva’s supporters group announced that the athlete would miss the Russian Show Jumping Championship due to health reasons.
“I think the fans, like many other people, are waiting for Camila to enter the championship. Maybe today she is not quite ready or she wants to take a break, take a kind of break for herself. The show jumping tournament will take place on January 20-21 in Moscow.
