Newcomer Gornyakov followed the team’s performances in the Champions League
Newbie Miner Kevin spoke about his move to the Ukrainian club.

Earlier, Shakhtar officially announced Kevin’s transfer. The club’s agreement with the football player is for 5 years. The Brazilian will wear number 37 for the Miners. He has already joined the team at the training camp in Turkey.
In 2023, the 21-year-old footballer, playing as a left winger, made 11 appearances in the team that became the champion of Brazil at the end of the season. In total, including appearances for Palmeiras U-20 in the Brazilian Youth Championship, Kevin played 53 games, scoring 16 goals and providing six assists.
Shakhtar are in fourth place in the UPL, three points behind the leaders, but with two games in hand. The miners will play Marseille in the 1/16 finals of the Europa League in February. The team is currently at training camp in Belek, Turkey.
