Second victory for Terangi Lions in Group C
Team Senegal beat Cameroon in the second round match of Group C at African Cup of Nations 2023 – 3:1.
The Lions of Teranga took the lead in the 16th minute through the efforts of Marseille forward Ismail Sarr. After the break, Al-Shabab striker Habib Diallo increased the Senegalese lead.
Towards the end of the match, Cameroon responded with a precise shot from Jean-Charles Castelletto, but Rigobert Song’s team did not have enough to do more. In stoppage time, Sadio Mane scored Senegal’s third goal and set the final score of the match.
