The midfielder will continue his cooperation with the Croatian club next season
Midfielder Tottenham’s Ivan Perisic moved to Hajduk on loan until the end of the season. In the Croatian club the player will play under number 4.
The 34-year-old midfielder’s contract with Spurs expires on June 30. After this, Ivan will extend his cooperation with Haiduk for another season after receiving free agent status.
Perisic is a graduate of the Hajduk Academy. From there, the midfielder moved to Sochaux, after which he played in many European clubs. This season, the Croatian has played six matches for Tottenham in all competitions, scoring two assists. Perisic has not played since September due to a torn cruciate ligament.
Hajduk leads the Croatian championship. In the next round, Perisic’s team will play against their closest rival Rijeka on January 28.
