Winner of the World and European Figure Skating Championships Anna Pogorilaya announced on social media that she was expecting a child.
Anna is married to former figure skater Andrei Nevsky. The first child in their family was born in 2020, the girl’s name was Eva.
“I don’t see the point in hiding it anymore… I’m pregnant!” And we will become parents again. It’s been 5 months already, and I think many have started to guess or at least suspect something. This year I distracted everyone from the show and I am very happy about it, because no one could imagine that there would be such frosts. The last pregnancy, there was Covid and there were a lot of fears and worries, so I am enjoying this pregnancy to the fullest. And I even continue to work and train as usual. Every day I am euphoric at the thought of a new miracle, I don’t want to rush, but I really want to know what kind of little man is waiting for us,” Pogorilaya wrote on the social network.
Pogorilaya, 25, is a World Championship bronze medalist (2016), European Championship silver medalist (2017) and two-time European Championship bronze medalist (2015, 2016).
