The blue-and-yellows had no penalty laps in the race and finished in ninth place
Ukrainian national team took ninth place V mixed relay at the stage Biathlon World Cup 2023/24, which took place in Antholz-Anterselva.
The blue-yellow team included Anastasia Merkushina, Yulia Jima, Denis Nasyko and Dmitry Pidruchny. The Ukrainians used 12 additional rounds during the race, avoiding penalty loops.
The Norwegian team won the race. Biathletes from Italy finished in second place, and Sweden took bronze.
Tomorrow, January 21, the men’s and women’s mass starts will take place in Antholz. Ukraine will be represented in the races by Artem Prima, Yulia Jima, Anastasia Merkushina and Irina Petrenko.
