Ponomarev: Dovgy, Alvarenga and Mysyk do not fit into Rukh’s tactical schemes

Players put up for transfer

Mentor Ruha Vitaly Ponomarev spoke about the potential departure of three midfielders of the team: they are put up for transfer Alexey Dovgy, Fabricio Alvarenga And Maryan Mysyk.

“These are qualified players, there are no complaints against them regarding their duties. However, for various reasons, they no longer fit into the tactical schemes that Rukh now practices. All that remains is to wish them good luck in the teams where they will find a job.”

Alvarenga has been playing for the Lviv club since the summer of 2021, but has played only three games for Rukh this season. Dovgy played in 11 meetings (one goal), and Mysyk had one assist in three games.

Rukh went to Slovenia for a training camp, where he will hold ten sparring sessions. Among the rivals of the Lviv team in control matches are clubs from Slovenia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. Yesterday, Ponomarev’s team beat Minai (3:1) in sparring.

Rukh ranks sixth in the Ukrainian Championship standings with 26 points. In the next round of the UPL, Yuri Ponomarev’s team will play against Polesie. The 18th round matches are scheduled for February 2024.
