Christiansen won the men’s mass start in Antholz, Prima finished last

The top three winners also included Johannes Dahle and Vebjörn Soerum

Norwegian biathlete Vetle-Sjåstad Christiansen became the winner of the men’s mass start at the sixth stage World Cup 2023/24 in Italian Antholz.

Christiansen made one mistake and was ahead of his closest pursuer, another Norwegian Johannes Dahle, by 10.7 seconds. The entire podium went to the Norwegians, third place was taken by Vebjörn Soerum.

The only representative of Ukraine, Artem Prima, took last place. The Ukrainian failed the shooting, making eight misses.

The women’s mass start will also take place on Sunday. Ukraine will be represented by Yulia Jima, Anastasia Merkushina and Irina Petrenko. The race starts at 15:45.
