Gallyamov was surprised by the FFKKR’s decision to abandon team names at the Chechen Show Jumping Championships

Olympic champion Alexander Galliamov said he was surprised by the decision of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) to drop the names of the Russian Show Jumping Championship teams.

The teams of Gallyamov and Dmitry Kozlovsky took part in the team tournament of the Russian Show Jumping Championship. The victory was won by Kozlovsky’s team, represented by: Margarita Bazylyuk, Sofya Muravyova, Maria Gordeeva, Lev Lazarev, Evgeny Semenenko, Ivan Popov, Dmitry Aliev, Ekaterina Chikmareva/Matvey Yanchenkov, Alexandra Boykova/Dmitry Kozlovsky.

— I personally had ideas about the names of the teams, but before the start we were told: there would be teams of Gallyamov and Kozlovsky. I was a little surprised, because at another team tournament there were team names – “Red Machine”, “Time of the First”, I thought it would be the same here. What were the names? I will not say whether we will suddenly become captains at the next tournament, ”reports the correspondent of , reporting Gallyamov’s words.

Earlier, reported that FFKKR abandoned the names of the teams for the Russian Show Jumping Championship at the last moment. Initially, Gallyamov’s team was to be called “Flame Ice”, and Kozlovsky’s team “North Wind”.
