Russia’s Honored Coach Tatyana Mishina told that young skaters Arsenia Fedotova , Lev Lazarev And Margarita Bazylyuk great future in the sport, they delivered incredible performances at the Russian Show Jumping Championship.
Bazylyuk (12 years old) and Fedotov (14 years old) became winners of the individual show jumping tournament at the Russian Championships, which took place in Moscow on January 20-21. The team tournament was won by Bazylyuk, Sofia Muravyova, Maria Gordeeva, Lazarev, Evgeny Semenenko, Ivan Popov, Dmitry Aliev, Ekaterina Chikmareva/Matvey Yanchenkov, Alexandra Boykova/Dmitry Kozlovsky.
— The competition turned out to be very interesting, the tournament was more successful than last year. Zhenya (Semenenko) did a great job, he did it and only made one big mistake in the last Salchow. I could have gone to the final. He passed the competition with dignity and did not let the team down. (Gleb) Lutfullin stopped at the semi-final stage, he could have jumped better, but he played well.
Little children are simply delicious, (Arsenia) Fedotova, (Lev) Lazarev, (Margarita) Bazylyuk would be highlighted in a separate line. The guys are talented, fighters, they have a bright future. (Elena) Kostyleva is a talented girl, but she had a bad fall. It happens in sports, apparently something was damaged. It’s still too early for many to compete as juniors, but they are already shining at the Russian Championship,” Mishina told .
