Top Ukrainian coaches in the ministry have demanded that Ilya Kvasha be fired.
There is a big scandal in the Ukrainian Diving Federation. It happened between head coach Ilya Kvasha and his wards.
Ukraine’s leading experts in this sport wrote an open letter to Minister Vadim Gutsait. In it, they described the essence of their claims against Kvasha and asked him to be fired.
The statement cited examples that, in their opinion, the advisers, are damaging not only the image of the sport, but also the country and the international arena.
So the letter said Kvasha, who was appointed with a winter scandal to the post of national team coach, allegedly due to personal conflicts, did not include some athletes, especially Alexei Sereda, in the camp of training.
Experts demand that they, the athletes, be protected, and let them work quietly for the good of their own country and expel Kvasha so as not to lose skilled coaches.
