President of Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe reacted to the decision of the Olympic champion Sergei Ustyugov leave national team coach Yegor Sorin.
Earlier, Ustyugov admitted that he had a misunderstanding with the coach, and after several comments directed at him, he decided to leave.
– How much he trained with Sorin – two weeks. I think his statement is incorrect. We all know Sergei. In which way? His quirks, he doesn’t like everything, he needs complete freedom, but it doesn’t exist in the team,” Vyalbe told .
In the offseason, Ustyugov joined Yegor Sorin’s team after coach Markus Kramer left the Russian national team, but the athlete continues to train according to the plans of the German specialist.
