Athletistic/Others. State Duma deputy, first deputy chairman of the tourism committee and former world boxing champion Nikolai Valuev expressed his views on Russia’s relations with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

WADA representatives previously announced their intention to receive a contribution from Russia in the amount of approximately $1.3 million for 2023.

“It is not practical for us to contribute such large sums to WADA. We must reconsider the agreement with this organization. Russia must use legal mechanisms and our further steps must be carried out through the courts .

Is WADA trying to mislead us? They are thieves and they will never admit it, ”Valuev said in an interview with a Sport24 correspondent.
