Juventus announced the transfer of the Lille defender Tiago Djalo. The Portuguese signed a contract until the summer of 2026 and will wear number 33.
The Bianconeri will pay Lille 3.6 million euros, divided into several tranches. 2.6 million euros are also provided in case of achievement of agreed sporting indicators.
23-year-old Djalo has experience playing in Italy – the defender played for the youth team of Milan, from where he moved to Lille. The Portuguese has not played a single match this season – Djalo is recovering from a torn cruciate ligament.
Juventus, after defeating Lecce (3:0), took the lead in Serie A, one point ahead of Inter and having played one match more. The Bianconeri will host Empoli in their next match on January 27.
