Athletistic/Figure skating. Olympic diving champion and now sports journalist Elena Vaitsekhovskaya expressed her opinion about the Russian diving championship held in Moscow, admitting that she did not quite share the enthusiasm expressed in the reviews.

She noted that the comments of the presenters, including Tatiana Tarasova, were too enthusiastic. Vaitsekhovskaya admitted that, if we take a less emotional approach to the event, the championship did not bring anything revolutionary, except for the unique stunt “quadruple Salchow – tanker – quadruple Salchow” performed by Margarita Bazylyuk. She also noted that the complexity of the figures is much easier to master for 12-year-olds than for 16-year-olds.
