Shakhtar scouts are watching defender Iago and midfielder Cayo Garcia from Flamengo U-20 – journalist

Scouts of various clubs, including Donetsk Shakhtar, spotted in the Brazilian Barueri (state of Sao Paulo). According to journalist Leo Jose, they are monitoring two youth team players Flamengo – defender Iago and midfielder Kayo Garcia.

In the semi-final match of the Sao Paulo Youth Cup (aka Copiña) at the Barueri Arena, Flamengo lost to their peers from Cruzeiro – 1:2. Central defender Iago and defensive midfielder Caio Garcia played a full match for Fla.

According to available information, the mentioned players were watched by scouts of the champion of Ukraine, as well as Lisbon Sporting and Italian Sampdoria.

Iago (#14) is eighteen years old and 1.88 meters tall. In the current Kopinye, he played eight matches and received three warnings. In total, he has 20 matches for Flamengo U-20.

Kayo Garcia (No. 8) is a year older. Can play both in the center of the field and on the defensive flank. In total, Flamengo appeared on the field 14 times for the youth team, but was not particularly effective.

Let us remind you that Shakhtar recently signed winger Kevin from Palmeiras. The Brazilian newcomer scored an assist in the test match with Pyunik (2:0) at a training camp in Turkey.
