“It is impossible to exist without Russian figure skaters, and these journalists remember through mouse bites” – Averbukh

Choreographer Ilya Averbukh told that American journalists cannot exist without Russian skaters.

Previously, American blogger Dave Lees criticized the Russian show jumping championship. Among other things, he said that the Russians, with poor gliding performances, had only received international medals thanks to their jumping. He also questioned whether 12-year-old figure skater Margarita Bazylyuk’s bones would function after a quadruple Salchow – oiler – quadruple Salchow stunt.

— Apparently, the topics have become so rare that it is impossible to exist without Russian figure skaters, and these journalists themselves remind us through mouse bites. It is not interesting to write about one’s own people, but at least in absentia, biting those who are unfairly not allowed to participate in competitions, and at the expense of them, remembering oneself – this is the lot of this level of journalism.

— It seems that this clearly shows that people abroad actively follow Russian figure skating.

— Russia has always been, remains and will be the headliner of figure skating. Naturally, we are leaders and the world has a lot of interest in us. Each program of our champions is a story, a scenario. Russian figure skating is emotion, a whirlwind of passions, the highest technical base of jumps,” Averbukh told .

The Russian Show Jumping Championship took place from January 20 to 21 at the CSKA Arena in Moscow. Elizaveta Osokina and Artem Gritsaenko won in the duet, Arseny Fedotov won in the men’s singles and Bazylyuk won in the women’s singles. In the team tournament, Dmitry Kozlovsky’s team celebrated its success.
