Chelsea houses were easily destroyed Middlesbrough in the second leg of the semi-final English League Cup – 6:1.
Even before the break, the Blues practically eliminated questions about the winner by scoring four goals. Jonathan Howson first scored an own goal, followed by Enzo Fernandez, Axel Disasi and Cole Palmer.
In the second half, the Londoners scored twice more – Noni Madueke scored, and Palmer also scored a brace. Middlesbrough forward Morgan Rogers pulled one back late in the match.
Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudryk started for the Blues. Mikhail earned a yellow card and was replaced at half-time.
Let us remind you that in the first semi-final Middlesbrough won with a score of 1:0. Based on the sum of two meetings, Chelsea advanced to the final.
