Figure skater Simonova suffers partial memory loss after fall at Moscow tournament

According to , figure skater Maria Simonova, who competes in pairs skating with Martin Breslavsky, suffered partial memory loss after a fall during a tournament in Moscow.

The incident occurred during the performance of a short program among juniors at the competition “For the President’s Prizes of the FFKM”. Breslavsky was unable to hold Simonova and dropped his partner to the ice; during the fall, 14-year-old Simonova hit her head. The athletes were able to continue the competition and complete their performance.
