Mishin’s student, figure skater Lutfullin, intends to learn five jumps

Student of coach Alexei Mishin, singles skater Gleb Lutfulline talked about performing a quadruple jump stunt.

— I will try to support the trend with a cascade of quadruple Salchow – tanker – quadruple Salchow (smiles). I thought that after Sasha Trusova and Anya Shcherbakova it was impossible to make things even more difficult, that this was the ceiling. When we were juniors and we were 14, they started doing quadruple jumps, I was like, “How is that possible?” But everything changes.

When I was 10 years old, I watched a video with Vladislav Sezganov, who performed a quadruple Lutz, and thought: “How is this possible?” And now a lot of people are jumping on it. “Soon we will teach all five,” Lutfullin told the “Championship”.
