Olympic champion in cross-country skiing Sergei Ustyugov was nominated for the Spartakiad of the Strongest as part of the team of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, reports the press service of the Sports Training Center of the National Teams of the ‘Ugra.
This season, 31-year-old Ustyugov did not take part in the starts of the Alfa-Bank Russian Cup in cross-country skiing.
The All-Russian Winter Sports Spartakiad among the strongest athletes will be held in Tyumen from February 9 to 18, 2024.
Sergei Ustyugov is Olympic relay champion (2022), double world champion in 2017 (in skiathlon and team sprint), winner of the multi-day Tour de Ski in the 2016/2017 season.
