Friday January 26, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) was to examine the ROC’s appeal against the IOC’s decision to temporarily suspend it from international competitions, made last October. However, the court will make a decision later. This was announced by the head of the ROC Stanislav Pozdnyakov.
– The decision on our request against the IOC to cancel the temporary suspension of the ROC will be made later, a hearing took place today. We have no illusions, because the current CAS management system does not give us any reason to count on its impartiality,” Pozdniakov wrote on the Telegram channel.
