The prize money for the absolute champions of Russia at the Penza competitions will amount to 100,000 rubles, the press service of the Russian Diving Federation told .
The absolute champions are the athletes who obtain the best sum of points based on their performances in the qualification, the semi-final, the final of the individual 3m springboard and the 10m platform. The winners of certain program types will receive 50 thousand rubles, silver medalists – 30 thousand, bronze – 20 The championship of Russia will end in Penza on July 16.
“The Federation tries to support athletes with prizes during competitions, financial support is always important,” said Svetlana Moiseeva, head coach of the Russian national team.
