Coach Dubois: Despite all the rumors, I only see Fury winning over Usyk

The Usyk-Fury fight will officially take place on February 17

Don CharlesBritish heavyweight trainer Daniel Duboisbelieves that the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is a clear favorite in the fight for the undisputed title with the holder of the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight belts Alexander Usik.

“I have never kept my opinions secret. Whenever I was asked about this, I talked about Tyson’s clear victory in this fight. Of course, this fight will not be easy. How long have we not had an absolute world heavyweight champion? 25 years or so? The last absolute was Sir Lennox Lewis.”

“It will be a tough fight, but I only see Tyson winning. Despite all the rumors, it’s just boxing. I think Fury will definitely win this fight.”

Don Charles previously said that it would be hard for Usyk to brush off Fury. The coach expects the Ukrainian to have problems in close combat.

The Usyk-Fury fight will officially take place on February 17. The title of absolute heavyweight champion will be at stake. The event will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The undercard of the Usyk-Fury fight will feature former IBF cruiserweight world champion Jay Opetaja, 19-year-old Itauma and IBF super featherweight world champion Joe Cordina.

Fury defeated Ngannou via split decision. It was reported that the Briton received two cuts in a fight with the former UFC champion.

Usik fought his last fight on August 27 in Wroclaw, Poland. The Ukrainian knocked out Daniel Dubois in the 9th round and defended his championship titles.
