Al-Jazeera agreed for the coach to combine his position with work in the Ukrainian national team
Head coach Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov rejected major offers from two clubs from the United Arab Emirates, Al Jazeera And Al Shababa.
Both clubs offered very favorable financial conditions. Al Jazeera also agreed that Rebrov combine his team work with the national team. The blue-yellow mentor refused.
Let us remember that Rebrov previously headed Al-Ain before joining the national team. Under the leadership of the Ukrainian, the team won the UAE championship and cup in 2022, and the following season finished the championship in second place.
Previously, Rebrov became the new vice-president of the Ukrainian Football Association. The blue-yellow coach believes that the U-21 team tournament should be returned to Ukraine for a more comfortable transition of young players to adult football.
