Athletistic/ Figure skating. Today, January 29, the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne issued a decision in the case of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. The CAS considered that the skater had violated anti-doping rules and disqualified her for four years. The ROC reacted to the court verdict.

– Unfortunately, the decision of the CAS is negative, however, it is no longer possible to count on the objectivity and impartiality of this international structure, and we know this from the example of those cases where the ROC itself is involved as a party, including in the case of our dismissal on the basis of a decision of the IOC Executive Committee, says a statement published on the ROC website.
