Athletistic/Figure skating. Olympic ice dancing champion Tatiana Navka has expressed her reaction to the news of the disqualification of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. Today, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decided to disqualify Valieva for 4 years for violating anti-doping rules.

“I believe that this decision is monstrously unfair and polarized. Our sports leaders must use all means to challenge this verdict. Kamila remains the strongest figure skater in the world, even on the planet! She should not stop! Only forward, because our country and her family are with her and Tutberidze’s team. They will support her to make Valieva realize her dream! Kamila is the darling of our hearts!

Our figure skater has the opportunity to participate in the 2026 Olympic Games, if, of course, all Russian athletes have such an opportunity. After all, she’s only 17 and life is just beginning. I wish Camila strength, self-confidence and courage to overcome this incredibly difficult path! Valieva has to find courage in herself, and we, the NavkaTeam, are looking forward to it, we have a lot of performances. The whole country loves and will love our Kamila Valieva! We can’t wait to see her on our team! ” emphasized Navka in a conversation with a Sport24 correspondent.
