Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva deprived of fourth place at the 2022 Olympics and excluded from the protocol for the singles competition, reports the press service of the International Skating Union (ISU).
On Monday, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) suspended Valieva for four years for violating anti-doping rules. The disqualification period begins on December 25, 2021.
Valieva’s results at the Beijing Olympics were overturned, leading to a change in the results of the team tournament. The American team took first place, the Japanese finished second, and the Russian team dropped to third place.
