The ex-mentor of Juventus, Chelsea, Inter and the Italian national team agreed on the terms of the contract with the Rossoneri

According to Italian media, Antonio Conte can change Stefano Pioli as head coach Milan in the summer of 2024.

According to available information, the specialist himself has already accepted the terms of the red-blacks. In addition, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has recently held a position in the structure of the Milan club, is a supporter of his arrival.

Earlier it was reported that the Rossoneri management was dissatisfied with the results of the team under the leadership of the current coach. Roberto De Zerbi (Brighton) and Thiago Motta (Bologna) were named as contenders to replace Pioli.

Conte, 54, remains unemployed after being sacked by Tottenham in March 2023. Over the 17 years of his independent coaching career, Antonio managed to work with Arezzo, Bari, Atalanta, Siena, Juventus, the Italian national team, Chelsea, Inter and the aforementioned Tottenham. He became the champion of Italy four times, once the champion of England, and reached the quarterfinals of Euro 2016 with Squadra Azzurra.

Milan is in third place in Serie A, eight points behind leader Inter and 9 points ahead of fifth-placed Roma. At the same time, Pioli’s team managed to fly out of the Italian Cup, and in the group stage of the 2023/24 Champions League it took third place and was relegated to the Europa League.
