Athletistic / Diving. Russian coach Pavel Muyakin has been suspended after reports emerged of his harassment of diver Maria Bruenok. The head of the Russian Diving Federation, Stanislav Druzhinin, spoke about this.

Earlier, Bruenok herself reported that Muyakin had harassed her. According to the athlete, the coach sent him erotic messages. Additionally, according to the athlete, the coach kissed her on the lips.

Tarasova said that if she were Tutberidze, she would have admitted her guilt in the Valieva case.

“Muyakin has been suspended. The Federation has created a special commission to investigate this incident, we are aware of what is happening, we have actually seen this correspondence. Such correspondence is unacceptable between a coach and an athlete. I know also that the athlete contacted the Ministry of Sports, they are also conducting their own investigation into this matter. Indeed, I think such things are unacceptable, a coach is first and foremost a teacher and cannot afford this and continue to work with young people and athletes,” RIA Novosti quotes Druzhinin.
