Athletistic/ Figure skating. This week, the CAS issued a decision in the case of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. The court found the athlete guilty and disqualified her for four years, from the date of the positive doping test, which was December 25, 2021. Former Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Pavel Kolobkov spoke about this.

– I think the decision regarding Valieva is too harsh, even bloody. The court did not take into account any mitigating circumstances. Firstly, she is an underage athlete, and secondly, it makes no sense to use drugs in this sport,” Kolobkov said according to RT.
