Bogachuk: The fight with Fundora will be the fight of my life

Premier Boxing Champions event will take place in Las Vegas, USA

Ukrainian Sergei Bogachuk (23-1, 23 KO) commented on the upcoming fight against the American Sebastian Fundora (20-1-1, 13 KOs) for the title WBC junior middleweight champion.

“I have experience sparring with Fundora and I know that this is a serious fight. This is the biggest fight of my career. This is my first title fight and the fight of my life. I will give my 100%. I know that I have to be the best. I’ll be ready”.

Bogachuk and Fundora will fight on March 30. The Premier Boxing Champions event will take place in Las Vegas, USA. A full WBC junior middleweight title will be on the line instead of an “interim” belt.

Bogachuk holds the WBC Continental Americas title and is ranked second in the WBC rankings. Fundora is a former interim WBC champion, he is in 3rd position in the ranking. A face-to-face meeting between the boxers was scheduled back in November last year.

In the last fight, Bogachuk knocked out Ghanaian Patrick Allotey in the first round. For the Ukrainian, this was the second defense of the WBC Continental Americas title.

Fundora lost to Brian Mendoza in April and lost his interim WBC title.
