Head coach of SKA Romain Rotenberg said that the Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva can perform a demonstration in the new arena of the St. Petersburg hockey team.
On Wednesday, Valieva attended the regular KHL championship match in Moscow between CSKA and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod (3:2). As Alexander Kharlamov, general director of the Nizhny Novgorod team, told , the club decided to support the skater after the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to disqualify her.

On Monday, the CAS suspended Valieva for four years for violating anti-doping rules. The 17-year-old Russian’s suspension period begins on December 25, 2021, and her results have been canceled since that date.
