The leader in the Russian Cup sprint standings is three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov, who has won 15 consecutive victories in tournament races this season (including 5 in sprints). He is also at the top of the general classification of the Russian Cup; Savely Korostelev and Sergey Ardashev occupy second and third places in the general classification.
In the women’s sprint competition, Anastasia Faleeva is in the lead, followed by Alena Baranova and Elizaveta Pantrina. The leader of the general classification is the Olympic relay champion Veronika Stepanova.
