NaVi and FaZe showed earnest play in the grand final of the tournament.
On Sunday, July 17, the grand final of the prestigious IEM Cologne 2022 CS: GO tournament took place in the German city of Cologne.
Ukrainian team Natus Vincere and North American team FaZe Clan met in decisive confrontation. The match is played in bo5 format.
At the picks/bans stage, the karrigan team “crossed out” on Dust 2, forcing “born to win” to ban Vertigo, which was inconvenient for both teams.
Initially, the teams won their picks: FaZe won the Inferno – 16:13, and NaVi was better at the Overpass – 16:13.

Plus, the teams presented a fiery game on the Ancient map, selected by FaZe. “Born to Win” in the first half made a solid start – 12: 3, but after the change of sides there was a setback. Winning in 15: 4, they failed to get the winning round, losing 11 times in a row. However, NaVi avoided total embarrassment by winning the map in additional rounds – 19:16.

The North American team didn’t give up and showed a pretty hard game to the Mirage. The FaZe Clan won the map with a score of 16: 9, which moved the game to another map.
The confrontation saddle is the Nuke map. The first half was for “born to win” – 8: 7, but the final victory was for the FaZe Clan – 16:14.
It is noteworthy that the North American team won its fourth major tournament in six months. So, the FaZe Clan is the best team in the world right now.
