Silver medalist of the Russian Figure Skating Championship Vladislav Dikidji said he was not injured after being attacked on the subway.
On Friday, Dikiji, 19, said he was attacked in the subway and threatened with a knife. The athlete’s coach, Oleg Tataurov, told that Vladislav will be in training on Saturday and will not have any breaks in the attack.
— My father came to pick me up from the police station. I was very tired, I spent a lot of time there. I had a busy day, and a busy evening too. At the moment I can’t say anything about this situation, but I will definitely share. I’m safe, healthy, everything is fine. Thank you for your support,” Dikiji said in a video message on his Telegram channel.
Dikidzhi won a silver medal at the Russian Championship, which took place in December 2023 in Chelyabinsk. The skater also won two stages of the Russian Grand Prix, in Kazan and Moscow.
