The Parisians strengthened their leadership in Ligue 1
PSG won a difficult victory in an away match with Strasbourg in the 20th round League 1 – 2:1.
The Parisians had a good chance to open the scoring early in the match, but Kylian Mbappe missed his penalty. The forward redeemed himself later in the first half, scoring from the field after a pass from Marco Asensio.
In the second half of the meeting, Mbappe already gave an assist to the Spaniard. Strasbourg pulled one goal back, Dylan Bakwa scored. However, the hosts were unable to save the tie.
PSG has strengthened its lead in Ligue 1, the Parisians are nine points ahead of Nice, having played a match more. Strasbourg is tenth with 25 points.
The teams will play their next match on February 7 in the French Cup. PSG will play Brest, and Strasbourg will host Le Havre.
