The UAE club is working to sign the winger permanently
As became known Sports Arenawinger Taulant Seferi won’t return to Vorskla during the winter transfer window.
The Albanian holds a training camp with Baniyas. The UAE club, for which the winger plays on loan, is working on signing Taulant on a permanent basis.
In December, Vice President of Vorskla Oleg Lysak said that Baniyas would activate the Seferi clause specified in the contract with the Poltava team. The UAE club intends to finalize the deal within six months.
Let us remember that in July Seferi, whose contract with Vorskla is valid until the summer of 2025, transferred to Baniyas from Abu Dhabi on a one-year loan. At the same time, Lysak said that the Poltava club had the opportunity to make money on the deal. The agreement specified the combination of payments that the Ukrainian team would receive.
In the 2022/23 season, Seferi played 28 matches for Vorskla in all competitions, in which he scored 13 goals. For the UAE club, the 27-year-old Albanian played 14 matches in all competitions, scored seven goals and provided one assist.
Vorskla finished the first part of the championship in seventh place, with 23 points. In the 18th round of the UPL, the Poltava team will play away against Zorya. The base date of the tour is February 24.
