Vernidub’s team lost a two-goal lead
Krivbass in a productive sparring with a dramatic plot, he parted ways with the Estonian Levadia – 2:2.
Yuri Vernidub’s team took a two-goal lead after Daniel Sosa opened the scoring midway through the first half, and Hrvoje Ilic converted a penalty early in the second.
However, the Estonian vice-champion managed to make a comeback. The team, coached by ex-Valencia defender Curro Torres, quickly responded with their converted penalty kick, and at the very end of the match managed to avoid defeat.
Yesterday, February 3, Levadia lost to another Ukrainian club, Metalist 1925, with a minimal score (0:1).
At a training camp in Spain, Krivbass first beat Piast (2:0) and Ferencvaros (2:0), and then lost to Victoria Pilsen (0:3). In total, the team planned ten sparring sessions in Spain.
Krivbass went to the winter break as the leader of the UPL. The Vernidub team scored 34 points and is ahead of Dnepr-1 in additional indicators. Krivbass will play the next official match with LNZ.
