The Ruzaevsk transport prosecutor’s office is checking the circumstances of the landing in Saransk of a plane carrying figure skating coaches. Tatyana Tarasova and Svetlana Sokolovskaya, reports the press service of the Volga transport prosecutor’s office.

Earlier, Tarasova told that she and the rest of the passengers had to spend 35 minutes on the plane after arriving in Saransk, because the plane left the runway and ended up in a snowdrift. There were 87 passengers on board, including the Honored Coach of the USSR Tatiana Tarasova, coach Svetlana Sokolovskaya and the world and European champion in pair skating Alexei Tikhonov.
