Athletistic / Figure skating. Figure skating coach Svetlana Sokolovskaya commented on the incident with the plane that occurred at Saransk airport. Rossiya Airlines’ Sukhoi Superjet skidded off the runway and ended up in a snowdrift.

On board the plane were the skaters’ coaches, including Tatyana Tarasova. They were flying to the Russian junior championships. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
