Ice dance artists Anna Rumak And Gleb Goncharov explained to why they performed to a Depeche Mode track in rhythm dance at the Russian Junior Championships in Saransk.
The duo received 67.25 points for their performance.
Rumak: We could have skated better, there is no limit to perfection. Both emotionally and technically it can be improved. The organization of the tournament is excellent, thank you very much to the federation.
Goncharov: Maybe this performance is because we missed a lot. Considering the preparation, we played well.
— You played under Depeche Mode, is that your personal choice?
Goncharov: It’s the choice of the coaches, I didn’t know this group before. Now I’ve already started listening to this band. This program is one of my favorites.
Rumak: We don’t know yet if there will be anything else to play under this group’s lineup.
— Gleb, four years ago you said that you liked creating videos with musical accompaniment. Now you are no longer such an active user of social networks.
Goncharov: Now I don’t have much time for that, maybe at the end of the season I’ll film something again.
