Belarusian synchronized swimmer Vasilina Khandoshko won the World Aquatics Championships in Doha with a free program choreographed by Russian coach Elena Voronova.
Khandoshko participates in neutral status in this World Championship, she scored 245.1042 points. The competition was won by Canadian Jacqueline Simoneau (264.8207), the second being Greek athlete Evangelia Plantanioti (253.2833).
Russian coach Elena Voronova took part in preparing programs for Khandoshko.
— We have been working together since around 2015. This is the biggest success in Vasilina’s career so far. But (only) for now we now know how to do it according to the new rules,” Voronova told .
