Leverkusen reached the semi-finals of the tournament
In the 1/4 finals German Cup Bayer beat on home field in a high-scoring match Stuttgart with a score of 3:2.
The guests were the first to open the scoring in the match – Valdemar Anton scored. But after the break, Xabi Alonso’s team fought back through the efforts of Robert Andrich. A few minutes later, Stuttgart took the lead again thanks to a goal from Chris Furich. But before the end of the meeting, Bayer managed to snatch victory thanks to accurate shots from Amin Adli and Jonathan Ta, who scored his goal in the last minute of normal time.
Earlier, Kaiserslautern and Fortuna reached the semi-finals of the tournament. Also, as part of the 1/4 finals of the German Cup, the match Saarbrücken – Borussia M will be played.
In the next match of the German championship, Bayer will play against Bayern, and Stuttgart will play with Mainz.
