Brennan noted that the International Skating Union (ISU) has still not provided a clear explanation as to why the bronze medals in the Olympic team tournament were awarded to Russian skaters.
“It has now been a full week and the ISU does not know what mathematics was used or what rule was used to award Russia the bronze medal in the 2022 Olympic team event against Canada,” a- she declared.
Brennan previously expressed his opinion on social media that the bronze medal in the team event should have gone to Canada. According to his calculations, after recalculating the results, Canada should have had 55 points, and Russia – 54. However, according to the ISU decision, the Russian team received 54 points, and the Canadian team – 53.
